The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (called EO) is an international network for and by entrepreneurs. The network was founded in 1987 by American entrepreneurs and now counts more than 14,000+ members worldwide.
EO breaks through the ‘stand-alone position’ of an entrepreneur; they can share their questions and struggles, successes and failures on a personal, private and business level with like-minded people.
Personal development is the basis of the organisation. Members meet monthly in pre-arranged groups of up to 10, called forums. They spar about what is going on in that moment, on a business or personal level. The point isn’t to give advice or to tell anyone what to do. Its true power lies in sharing experiences, from which lessons are drawn jointly.
Members of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization also brush up their knowledge during learning events. National and international events are organised on a weekly and monthly basis and international keynote speakers are recruited to inspire the members, to challenge them and to bring them to new insights.
